Damarukam, which is among the most-awaited movies of 2012, has been released at a grand function held at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on Monday night (September 10, 2012). It was a star studded event, which also witnessed thousands of fans from all over the state coming to see Nagarjuna. Music directorDevi Sri Prasad
has composed music for the ten songs of the movie Damarukam for which lyricists Chandra Bose, Sahithi and Bhasakara Bhatla have penned the lyrics. Venkat Sai, Karthik, Sri Krishna, Harini, Hariharan, Myraid Pro, Shankar Mahadevan, Suchith Suresan, Mamta Sharma, Gopika Poornima, MLR Karthikeyan, Jaspreet Jasz and Sunitha have crooned the tracks. Adithya Music has bought the music rights of Damarukam and released the audio CDs into the market. The song 'Shiva Shiva Shankara', which has the voice of Shankar Mahadevan, is one of the major highlight of the music. Secondly, Charmi starrer item song 'Sakku Bhai' is another attraction.
